GLINNE, GM. LESKO, POW. LESKI

Rock formation, an outcrop of coarse-grained Krosno sandstone, and, according to legend, "the devil's stone". Located on the road No. 84 Uherce Mineralne - Lesko. On the northern side there was a quarry. O. Kolberg writes that local residents call the stone "Kustrin".

One legend says that the stone was abandoned at this spot by the devil, who carried it to drop on the Lesko church. He was forced to do so by a church bell. Alexander Fredro cites a legend about a girl enchanted into a stone by her mother. Another legend tells of an infant abandoned here and buried, whose spirit wanders between the rocks crying. Another account says that the rock is a witch's hut turned into stone by God, who was supposed to lure a princess from Lesko Castle here by magic to marry her off to her son.
