URZĘDÓW, GM. URZĘDÓW, POW. KRAŚNICKI
In the swampy valley of the River Urzędowka, there is a miraculous place with a shrine dedicated to St. Othello. From beneath a wooden chapel springs a spring, the water of which, according to tradition, has healing powers, especially helpful in diseases of the eyes, head and throat. On the second day of Pentecost believers from near and far, including those from across the Vistula, headed to the place. The first mention of the place dates back to the 18th century.
