The stone with hollows is located under the altar of St. Onufry's chapel standing in the cemetery in Łaskarzew. According to the legend, the stone was originally supposed to be located in this place, surrounded by reverence, and the dew collecting in its hollows had healing properties, especially the eyes were washed with it.

In 1710, a local priest died on the stone during the prevailing plague in the city, after which he was buried next to it. The stone was then to take on new power and become a place of prayer for the local community. Subsequently, a wooden church was built in place of the stone, and the boulder was placed under its altar. The current church dates from 1847, and like before, the stone is located under the altar with a picture of St. Onufry the Hermit.

In front of the chapel is another stone monument, described by B. Gierlach as a "stone with a bowl." In fact, it is a modern stoup, or a secondary trough quern used for this purpose. According to tradition, the water collecting in the pit is supposed to have healing properties.
