JANÓW LUBELSKI - UROCZYSKO KRUCZEKGM. JANÓW LUBELSKI, POW. JANOWSKI

According to a legend, in the Janowskie Forests, in a place called the Kruczek charm, St. Anthony was supposed to rest on a stone on his way between Lezajsk and Radecznica. A spring gushed out from under the stone. The water is said to have healing properties, accelerating the healing of wounds. The cross and chapel were erected in this place in 1773. It is likely that the beliefs associated with the spring have an earlier provenance.

Near the chapel is a Stations of the Cross and wooden monuments commemorating partisan battles. A place of pilgrimage, masses are held here.
