The present chapel of 1950 in place of an older one of 1847, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Inside is a statue of St. John Nepomucen. Originally located here is a copy of the image of Our Lady of Czestochowa
moved to the church in Czartowiec. Old chapel on stilts with
spring encased in a wooden basin seen in a depiction in Zygmunt Gloger
(1907, p. 79). Believing in the healing power of the spring, it is said to cure all diseases, especially
eyes. According to the legend, a blind girl appeared to the Mother of God in this place, she told her
to wash her eyes and the child regained her sight. Before World War II, the site of numerous pilgrimages.
