One of the oldest places of worship and pilgrimage in Subcarpathia. According to legend, in the XIII century an unknown man placed an image of Our Lady of Borecka in a wooden chapel on the hill. It is painted on a linden board with dimensions of 66-74 cm. At the foot of the hill ejaculated spring at which miracles began to happen. Next to the spring until the 19th century stood many open wooden chapels, which were erected by the faithful, placing images of MB in them. At the end of the 19th century, a grotto with a statue of Our Lady of Lourdes was built next to the spring. Numerous votives hang around it. Water from the spring is said to have healing properties.
